Twisted In Wire Brushes
Tube Cleaning brushes: these brushes are available in a single-stem/single-spiral construction for hand use or a in a double-stem/single or double-spiral for powered use.
Single stem tube brushes for hand use have a long wire handle with a loop on the end and are 6″ to 16″ in overall length. Brush diameter sizes for the single spiral brush range from 1/8″ up to 2″ diameter. The brush part ranges from 1″ long to 5″ long.
Double stem tube brushes for power use have a double stem, heavier construction with a more dense brush face for more aggressive brushing. Brush diameter sizes for the double spiral construction range from ¼” up to 2″. The overall length of the double spiral tube brush ranges from 4″ to 5 ½”. The brush part ranges from 1″ long to 3″ long.
Fill material sizes range from .003″ up to .010″. Standard fill materials include high carbon steel, stainless steel, brass, nylon and horsehair. The stem wire is normally plated carbon steel, but 300 series stainless steel is also standard with stainless wire. Other stem wire options include brass, copper, and plastic coated wire.
Burr Clean brushes: These heavily filled single spiral twisted in wire brushes are suitable for deburring internal threads, non-concentric holes, and keyways. Brush diameter ranges from ¼” to 1¼”. The brush part is 1″ long, and the overall length is 3½”. Fill material options include carbon steel or stainless steel in sizes from .003″ to .010″, or 120 grit Abrasive Nylon in .028″ or .040″ diameter. Stem materials also are available in carbon steel or stainless steel. Other sizes and materials available on request.

Abrasive Nylon Tube brush: A sturdy twisted in wire brush of double stem, single spiral construction, filled with abrasive nylon filaments with a variety of grit sizes from 80 grit to 500 grit for your particular deburring application. Brush diameters range from ¼” to 1 ¾”. The brush part ranges from 2″ to 2 ½”, and the overall length ranges from 5″ to 5 ½”. Extra fine 600 grit brushes are also available in a single spiral, single stem construction in diameters from 0.165″ to 1.015″.
Condenser Tube brush: Self cleaning single spiral brushes for removing surface deposits from condenser tubes and other internal areas. 4 ½” brush part and 7″ overall length. Galvanized stem wire with tubular shank on one end, 1/8″ exterior pipe nipple thread and 5/16″ internal thread. Connects to 24″ and 36″ extension rods sold separately.
Sidetuft brush: For removing burrs, scale, and dirt from interior surfaces, such as tapped or threaded holes, usually powered by a portable drill, lathe, or drill press. Brush part diameters range from ¼” to 1 ¼”, overall length from 2 1/8” to 2 ¼”, and fill materials include steel, stainless steel and brass in a range from .003” to .008”. Sidetuft holders are available separately for higher speed operation.
Valve Guide brush: Available in either Steel wire fill or Nylon, and in brush part diameters from ¼” up to 1 ¼”.
Flue brush: Available in Steel, Stainless Steel, Brass or Nylon in a variety of sizes from 1” up to 16”, to match the interior size of your flue or pipe. Brushes have a ¼” threaded pipe nipple on one end and a loop on the other end. Flexible fiberglass extension rods (3’, 4’ and 6’long) are available separately, as well as a variety of threaded loops, reducers and connectors.
